Pakistan is experiencing a rapid increase in the number of women joining its workforce.

But the country is gripping with physical, psychological and sexual harassment of women in the workplace.


Women often face hurdles in finding jobs that their male counterparts don’t for a variety of reasons.

This includes everything from concern that women will need to take time off for maternity leave to well-disguised, discrimination. Women can benefit from recognizing hiring trends and using creative and innovative ways to enter the job market.


Challenges  faced  by women  workers :

  1. Domestic Restriction

Earlier women were restricted to their home and their primary role was to take care of household chores. Now in most of the families, women are also allowed to get higher education and do paid jobs but under certain restrictions.

Harassment is another main problem by working women, as they are considered an easy target by the male colleagues. Most of the women in Pakistan came out of their house to earn money only at the time of extreme need, they are much vulnerable and colleagues and higher management harass them.
